Hello and welcome to the Bundaberg CBD Heritage Walk, a self-guided tour that will take you back in time and show you some of our city's most historic and beautiful buildings. This walk takes approximately one hour and covers approximately 3 kilometres of easy walking. You can start at any point along the route, but I recommend starting at the beautiful Post Office.

Bundaberg CBD Heritage Walk: A journey through time and architecture - Cya On The Road

As you walk along Bourbong Street, our main street, you will see a number of heritage buildings that tell the story of Queensland's history, particularly in relation to banking, commerce, trade and religion. Highlights include the Bundaberg Post Office and the Anzac War Memorial. There are heaps more to discover as you walk through the streetscape of heritage buildings.

I hope you enjoy this walk and learn more about the rich heritage and character of Bundaberg CBD. If you want more after your walk, no worries! Check out my other walk, the Bundaberg Heritage Walk Extension, which takes you further out of town to see more!
